How Problem Solver works in Chrome.
The product is built around the page you are already using, with the extension side panel as the workspace.
Capture the problem area
Select only the equation or prompt you want help with from the Chrome page you are already viewing.
Review beside the source
Problem Solver opens the explanation in the side panel so the original problem stays visible while you compare steps.
Start fresh or revisit locally
Use New session for the next problem and keep successful sessions in local extension history.
Privacy-minded by default.
Problem Solver is designed to process the selected problem area for solving while keeping persistent product storage minimal.
Cropped screenshots are processed for solving, not stored as persistent product data.
Solve requests do not include full page URLs or private page titles.
Successful history stays local in the browser extension.
Server metadata is limited to quota, billing, anti-abuse, and technical monitoring.
Premium access.
Free accounts include 3 solves per day. Premium plans raise the quota for heavier study sessions.

Questions before you start?
Review common answers here, then contact support if capture, quota, billing, or sign-in needs attention.
Does Problem Solver work on every Chrome page?
No. Chrome blocks extensions on some internal or restricted pages, and Problem Solver shows a controlled unavailable state there.
Can I change the answer style?
Yes. The extension Settings let you choose step-by-step or short-answer mode for future solves.
What should I do when a solve is unclear?
Capture a tighter, more readable area and try again. Support can help if the problem repeats.
